Drive Cloud Technology Adoption

The VectorUSA cloud services team has extensive experience guiding our clients through all stages of their journey to the cloud. From evaluating the costs and benefits of public, private, and hybrid cloud computing models to deciding which services make the most sense to migrate, we assist you every step of the way.

When the time comes to migrate some or all of your applications and services to the cloud environment of your choice, we’ll work to ensure that your transition is seamless and stress free.

As a leading U.S.-based cloud consulting firm with over 30 years of experience, VectorUSA helps your team deploy the public, private, and hybrid cloud environment that best fits your needs. Throughout the entire lifecycle, we design the most cost-effective, reliable, and secure computing environment.

Public cloud computing

Public Cloud Computing

These solutions offer flexibility, scalability, the reliability of high uptime rates, and the cost-effectiveness of shared resource utilization models. You only pay for the services you need today, while maintaining the ability to grow or shrink your IT footprint with the click of a button. We partner with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deliver world-class solutions.

Private cloud computing

Private Cloud Computing

A private cloud environment provides enhanced privacy, security, and data sovereignty compared to the public cloud. These purpose-built infrastructures also give you more control over your business-critical workloads and the services you need.

Hybrid cloud computing

Hybrid Cloud Computing

Considered the “best of both worlds,” a hybrid approach is enabled by intelligent orchestration at an enterprise scale. Customers enjoy the scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency of the public cloud while retaining much of the security and control of the private cloud for special-use systems or data.

Take advantage of the flexibility, scalability, and simplicity of desktop virtualization

Desktop virtualization separates a user desktop or application environment from a single physical device and makes it accessible from any platform, anytime via the cloud.

Desktop Virtualization offers accessibility anywhere, anytime

Whether your organization wants to increase accessibility to remote employees, streamline hardware management and employee onboarding, or lower your device or license costs, desktop and application virtualization can deliver significant advantages. Once one or more of the virtualization platforms are configured, users can establish a secure connection via a remote desktop gateway or other connection brokers using the highest industry standard security connection encryption mechanisms.

The types of desktop virtualization.

Depending on your needs, VectorUSA can help your organization identify and configure one or more of the following variants of desktop virtualization.

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

In VDI, the operating system (OS) runs virtual machines, which contain the desktop image, on a server within a datacenter. VDI technology leverages a hypervisor to split a server into different desktop images that users can remotely access via their endpoint devices. VDI provisions a dedicated VM running its own OS to each user within the virtualized environment.

Remote Desktop Services (RDS)

RDS, also called Remote Desktop Session Host (RDSH), allows users to remotely access shared desktops and Windows applications on Microsoft Windows Server operating systems. In RDS, users access remote desktops by sharing the hardware, operating system, applications, and host resources.

Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS)

DaaS’s functionality is similar to that of VDI: users access their desktops and apps from any endpoint device or platform. However, unlike with VDI, where your organization has to purchase, deploy, and manage all the hardware components yourself, in DaaS, desktop virtualization management is outsourced.

How do you choose the right desktop virtualization model?

The decision between VDI, RDS, or DaaS depends on your end user needs and the technical and operational realities of your organization. The experts at VectorUSA can help you determine the best fit for your business.

“Cloud migrations are like marathons, not sprints, there are multiple phases in the project, and each requires forethought, planning, and a strong problem-solving process. They’ve (VectorUSA) got depth, just name an area of IT, and you’ll find that their staff has multiple people with expertise in it. Anything I need, they know about it.”
