This VA Medical Center has been improving the health of men and women who have proudly served our nation, providing services to more than 72,000 Veterans.

Challenge

This VA healthcare facility had an end-of-life surveillance system that was failing daily.

Upgrading the system would require significant capital expenditure during a time of budget uncertainty.

Maintaining and monitoring the system would also require expensive new hires and retraining of existing staff.

An alternative approach was needed to keep the Facility’s precious budget and personnel resources focused on the core mission - servicing Veterans and saving lives.

Solution

VectorUSA implemented a Surveillance-as-a- Service solution where we managed the Facility’s video surveillance environment.

This included a new server and storage environment that allowed the Facility to store video for all 300+ cameras and replacement cameras, especially for critical areas.

VectorUSA also provided an on-site resource to provide preventative and repair services on all equipment related to the video surveillance environment.

Benefits

By retaining the services of VectorUSA to handle their video surveillance needs, the Medical Center was able to better focus resources on their mission - servicing Veterans and saving lives.

VectorUSA provided peace-of-mind that the video surveillance environment was being managed and monitored on-time, on-budget and with no down-time.
