What is NASA SEWP VI?

SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) is a NASA-administered Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) that provides the latest information technology products and product-based services to every federal agency and their authorized contractors.

SEWP VI is the sixth generation of the program, with a period of performance beginning November 1, 2026. It offers one of the fastest, lowest-cost paths to acquire IT hardware, software, and integrated solutions, backed by the NASA SEWP Program Office's order processing, tracking, and reporting tools.

As a SEWP VI contract holder, VectorUSA brings more than 35 years of federal integration experience — designing, building, and maintaining secure data, voice, video, wireless, cybersecurity, physical security, and managed-services solutions for Department of Defense and federal civilian customers.

SEWP VI is part of a multi-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. Orders placed under SEWP VI are governed by the Fair Opportunity provisions of FAR 16.505(b).

Fair Opportunity

SEWP VI is a multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract. In accordance with FAR 16.505(b), the Contracting Officer must give each SEWP contract holder a fair opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding the micro-purchase threshold issued under the multiple-award contracts, except as otherwise provided in FAR 16.505(b)(2).

The method used to provide fair opportunity is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer, who must document the rationale for placement and price of each order. The NASA SEWP online RFI/RFQ tool is the recommended method to support fair-opportunity decision documentation and will include the applicable contract holders within a selected Group or based on a suggested source.

Orders exceeding the micro-purchase threshold must receive a SEWP Control Number (SCN) from the SEWP Program Office prior to fulfillment.
