Since 1893, this University Medical Center has been providing exceptional care in specialties such as Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Psychiatry, and in the treatment of diabetes and hepatitis C.
Challenge
This Medical Center had a need for an upgraded audio-visual solution for one of their new buildings.
The requirement encompassed 10 rooms consisting of conference, group, waiting area, lobby, and community rooms.
They were looking for a robust, feature-rich and easy-to-use system.
Solution
VectorUSA worked closely with the Medical Center and end-users to develop a comprehensive Extron-based system.
The design consisted of interactive displays, projectors, screens, touch panels, and wireless collaboration devices and sound systems, including all physical HDMI and VGA connections.
VectorUSA also installed a customized SpinetiX digital signage to enable staff to easily display community health information.
Benefits
The success of this project defined a new Extron AV standard for our Client, which has subsequently been replicated across several other Medical Center projects.
IT support calls are down and end-user satisfaction is up due to the standardized system interface and simplified management.
This led to greater consistency and uniform training in every facility, enabling the staff to collaborate more effectively and efficiently.
