Mohave Educational Services Cooperative Awards Contract to Vector Resources
Contract Award Qualifies Vector Resources as Approved Telecommunications Systems Provider for Arizona Public Institutions
PHOENIX, Ariz., August 30, 2011 – Vector Resources, Inc., a leading systems integrator offering network consulting services and unified network solutions, announced today that the Mohave Educational Services Cooperative (MESC) has awarded the company a contract that establishes Vector as an approved telecommunications systems provider for MESC member organizations, which include Arizona schools and government agencies, as well as qualifying non-profit educational and healthcare institutions.
MESC saves time and money for member organizations by issuing solicitations for products and services to a wide variety of providers, and then awarding contracts to a limited number of offerors. In the case of this year’s awards, Vector Resources was one of seven vendors selected from a field of 26 responders.
“[T]he award as recommended constitutes the least number of vendors determined necessary to meet the members’ requirements,” according to the Mohave Arizona Cooperative Purchasing award letter. “The decision was based upon considerations for existing telecommunications systems, future equipment purchases and/or upgrades to existing equipment, contractor’s ability to provide for our large, diverse membership, geographic areas served, and Mohave’s past experience with contracts for similar products/services.”
Robert Messinger, Vector Resources’ executive vice president and company co-founder, said his executive team is pleased to have been awarded the Mohave contract, and looks forward to meeting the needs of MESC and its members.
“This is a big win for us,” Mr. Messinger said, in reference to Vector having passed the rigorous review and selection process. “Vectorpossesses in-depth experience assisting educational institutions, government entities and healthcare organizations with networking and telephony planning, deployment and management. We look forward to applying our expertise to assist Arizona institutions in meeting their telephony and network integration needs.”
