TORRANCE, CA - Vector Resources announces this month that the Company has earned the designation of BICSI-Certified Information Technology Systems (ITS) Institute, an accredidation that enables Vector to begin offering and leading BICSI certification courses for network infrastructure field technicians who lack these often-required certificaitons.

BICSI is a globally-recognized professional association that publishes widely-accepted standards and best practices for the design and installation of data, voice and video communication pathways and distribution systems.

Vector Resources - San Diego team member Nathan Lum - a member of the Company's Project Estimation Department - recently returned from BICSI headquarters in Tampa, Florida where he underwent intensive training to qualify to teach BICSI standards and industry best practices.

"Nate has been a longtime, loyal employee," said Estimation Team Manager Tim Shaeffer. "I congratulate Nate for what he was able to accomplish there. He's an asset to our Company, and this accredidation will help us all going forward."

Mr. Lum's principal assignment will be to train incoming field technicians, but his role may expand to include offering the BICSI certification courses to field technicians across Southern California who seek the BICSI credentials. Another possibility is to offer the course bundle as a practical trade program for interested high school students.

"Whatever the case, this will mean a lot to our customers when they discover that we're certified to lead a BICSI training institute. And it aligns perfectly with all the other Business Partner and network product sales and engineering training happening across the company."
