Pop quiz:  Is it better to have one integrated, adaptable phone system serve the entire school district?

Vector Resources knows the answer.

The problem:

The time had come for this large public school district to make a major upgrade to its telephones.  Each of the district's 22 locations had an independent phone system, and they were nearing the end of their useful life.  Maintenance expenses and service calls required to keep the phones working correctly were eating into tightly squeezed budgets.  When the district became eligible for project financing, it knew it had a chance to invest in a comprehensive solution.

The solution:
The school district called Vector Resources to help get its telephone problem solved.  Vector engineers performed an extensive survey of the district's infrastructure, charting the location and capabilities of every inch of telephone wiring across all of its locations.  The Vector team then used this information to plot an upgraded data network to provide the entire district with data and VoIP phone service, in an effort to reduce the district's maintenance and administrative costs.  Vector Resources' comprehensive perspective - a full-service partner encompassing network infrastructure consulting, structured cabling installation, and IP telephony design and execution - kept the various components aligned through the lifespan of the project.

The future:
With an upgraded digital infrastructure and a flexible VoIP phone system, this Vector Customer is prepared for the road ahead.  The centralized communication system is a foundation for many other features - a district-wide bell and paging system, for example - keeping all of the district's students on the same page.
