The problem:
This San Diego Region Hotel has developed a stellar reputation as one of America's most luxurious hotels. When the Hotel's executives wanted to expand their landmark property with the construction of beachfront cottages, they knew that their exclusive clientele would insist on nothing less than the latest in communication and connectivity options. To find a firm that could meet these demands on a strategic timetable, project managers turned to Vector Resources.
The solution:
After meeting with key project stakeholders, Vector engineers drew up plans to wire the new villa suites - as well as the new spa and fitness center - with voice and data cabling, wireless Internet access points, and coaxial cable for television and CCTV signals. Once the installation had been reviewed by everyone from contracting executives to representatives of hotel security, Vector's role turned from consultant to contractor, and its teams went to work. By project's end, Vector had delivered a comprehensive data network covering more than 70 new villa suites, tied together by more than 30 miles of copper and linked by nearly two miles of fiber optic cabling.
